I would like to share my experience for preparing and clearing for HANA Certification
C_HANAIMP141 Application Associate (Edition 2014) - SAP HANA.
A Brief Background About me : I am an SAP ABAP Consultant for more than 10 years recently involved in a SAP HANA implementation on CRM for a media company which moved my interest towards In Memory database technology and was much more interested towards SAP HANA as a Platform . I had a through preparation about 2-3 months and finally cleared the exam though was lot skeptical in initially finalizing the date of the exam But thorough preparation is needed to be confident to clear the certification.( Please be sure of your exam date because the cost of exam if you are paying by your self.)

Areas of Concentraion : Data Provisioning and Data Modelling and Reporting.
Practical Knowledge : If we don't have any implementation experience it is advised to practice the exercises and follow the YouTube videos for a basic step by step procedure the You Tube videos are based on version SP05 so there might be slight difference in the screens and options.

Data Modelling Concepts : Create various types of views( Attribute,Analytic,Calculation View),Input Parameters,Variables,Restriction using Filters,Constraint filters,Decision Tables,Currency Conversion,Hierarchies and exposing Views to Excel.
Data Provisioning Concepts : Please practice various methodologies of Data Provisioning ( SLT, Data Services,DXC,Uploading through Flat files etc ) .
SLT ->Configurations,Simple Transformations adding line of and ABAP Includes for transformations , Changing and adding columns during Replication scenarios.
Data Services -> Configurations,creating Data Store,Data Flow,Query Transform,Template table,Complex Transforms, Replication Scenarios,Try to replicate Data into HANA from any extractor as well( Just to be Confident about the process)
Reporting : There are various reporting tools available for various platforms and scenarios
Crystal Reports,WEBI,DASHBOARD,EXPLORER,ANALYSIS EDITION FOR OLAP, ANALYSIS FOR MS OFFICE,SAP Lumira for Visualization do take a look how each scenarios can be created (HA100)
Final Words : There needs to be lots of practice and studying required if we don't have any implementation experience. In the Study materials each and every slide can be important you never know how the questions might come. Do give a second reading if time permits . 60% of the questions do come from the study materials and developer guides and 40% questions come from your practical and implementation experience .Please do follow the SCN HANA Development center for more detailed understanding of any issues that might encounter.SAP Certification questions are mostly tricky please answer carefully and do read the questions and options twice you can easily spot 2 answers for multiple choice but the third is mostly tricky be careful in those circumstances.Other Topics to be considered as well are Deployment Solutions,Security and Authorizations.
